Rod Jabin's Ramrod continued thier dominace of the Farr 40 Class on the final day of the 2009 Sailing World Annapolis Nood to take the first overall with 5 wins and a total of 11 points in eight races.  Mark Cloutier's Abracadra finished second with 22 points and father/ son of Gary and Matthew Beer were third with 27 points.  The fleets will be sailing in the AYC Wednesday night series this summer as well as selected regional events and the Storm Trysail Club's Block Island Race Week. 

The Farr 40 One Design

The class has held International Sailing Federation recognised class status since 1997.

The Rolex Farr 40 World Championships is the pinnacle event of the calendar. Featuring the highest level of competition with the Olympic, America's Cup and Volvo Ocean Race Veterans amongst this strictly Owner/Driver Class.
