Premiere automaker Audi will sponsor the Farr 40  Audi Invitational Regatta 20 -21 June 2009 .  "We look forward to the return of Audi  as a sponsor of Farr 40 Racing" said Class President Jim Richardson. "The format of the event is a unique one; On one day of racing every Farr 40 competing will carry a randomly selected invited celebrity as part of their team."  The guest crew will not count as part of the crew's allowed total weight.   Audi plans to host a reception and a dinner for all the teams and their new 'crew members and will be providing Audi cars and drivers during the event and the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship the following week.  More details to follow.
