Premiere automaker Audi will sponsor the Farr 40 Audi Invitational Regatta 20 -21 June 2009 . "We look forward to the return of Audi as a sponsor of Farr 40 Racing" said Class President Jim Richardson. "The format of the event is a unique one; On one day of racing every Farr 40 competing will carry a randomly selected invited celebrity as part of their team." The guest crew will not count as part of the crew's allowed total weight. Audi plans to host a reception and a dinner for all the teams and their new 'crew members and will be providing Audi cars and drivers during the event and the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship the following week. The Notice of Race and Entry Form for the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship are now available online.
Hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the fleet looks forward to returning to Sardinia for the Rolex Farr 40 Worlds in late June. The Entrie list and additional event information will be available on the YCCS website as they are known. |

Nerone wins Farr 40 Fleet and Boat of the Week honors
Congratulations to Massimo Mezzaroma and Antonio Sodo Migliori's Nerone for winning class and overall Boat of the Week honors! Nerone went into the final day of racing just three points ahead of Giovanni Maspero's Joe Fly and won both races to secure the title.
