No Racing on Final Day of First Series of 2009 European Circuit

With light rain, fog and no wind the Race Committee held the fleet onshore this morning.  At noon, the AP came down and the fleet went out to the course, but after two hours PRO Eckhart Reincke was convinced there was no hope conditions would improve enough to get racing started today by the 1430 warning signal deadline and sent the fleet home.  Yesterday's results stand, so Alessandro Barnaba's Fiamma wins the first event of the 2009 circuit.  The fleet's next start will be at Rolex Capri Sailing Week in May where additional entrants include Class President Jim Richardson with Barking Mad and current North American Champion William Douglass with Goombay Smash.
